WTF? I am mad. I didn't get the factory service manual with my TV, stove, refrigerator --- oh --- I guess I didn't get it with anything that I have bought. Moreover, I don't even have the option to get one of these manuals in most cases.
I think it's pretty nice that there is a manual...
Yes, read that. ARP spec was clearly the plan of attack. I just wanted to hear some reasoning behind not going that high. It would likely not change my mind, but I'd like to hear a justification of that opinion nonetheless.
I'm really interested in hearing thoughts on this. My head is going back on tomorrow. I am using a composite gasket and would like to hear what the risk is with torquing all the way to ARP spec. I have both ARP studs and bolts, so I was planning on using the studs.
Yes, I was talking about you, though I reread my post and I came off a little harsh. Sorry 'bout that...
It seemed like the guy who responded to you was a little discouraged by your post, I just wanted to let him know there was no reason for that...
Either way -- sorry for my tone --...
I don't know what the guy above you is talking about.
Everything appears to be really nice -- I haven't mounted it yet, but everything about the pipe is top notch.
The 935 pipe is likely identical to the ebay pipe (same people make all of these).
The poster above you shouldn't be saying...
^^^ I can attest to this. I have seen quite a few stock s2k's in the high 13's. I don't know why everybody here seems to think they're that slow. You just have to drive them a little differently.
I think you definitely need to be rolling to beat a competent driver.
I bought my first in 1996. It was a 1988 Turbo Targa 5 speed Black/Grey Leather.
I Had it for quite a long time, with no mechanical issues at all. The paint was beginning to check a little, and I worked in a body shop back then, so it changed colors twice: First to medium blue metallic...
Wasn't endorsing Vista, just stating specs of the machine.
I run XP pro and Ubuntu on the M1210. My PowerBook runs XP, OSX, Vista, Fedora, and Ubuntu. I need to have immediate access to multiple OS's for work.
To the OP - don't forget if you're in school you get all sorts of...
Profit, warranty repairs, customer service, overhead, assembly time.
I'm not saying your points aren't valid, but to be honest, I don't enjoy assembling computers. I have done two before, but it's a waste of time for me. In most cases, I have found buying a pre-built machine to be cheaper...
I haven't had a consistently good support service with ANY computer manufacturer except Apple and Dell XPS. I don't really depend heavily on support, but Dell's XPS support line and chat service has done a FANTASTIC job for me.
I wouldn't call the XPS line great, but it is better than the...
Just a personal preference thing about Toshiba's. Much of it just has to do with packaging - dark blue glossy paint on the lids takes fingerprints way too easily, latch is clumsy, position/performance of touchpad -- many things like this -- again, nothing wrong with them at all, just little...
