    Brake Line Project

I have the engine mounted up in my LS6 Supra. I now want to setup the brakes. I have removed all brake lines, ABS, proportioning valve etc. I will be putting in an adjustable proportioning valve on the rear circuit. I need to plumb up all of the calipers. I am wondering what you guys feel I...

    Helicoil sizes?

3/8" NC I would think. Thread a coil into a variety of nuts to find what the exact coil thread specs are. Then drill the hole to be 3/32 of an inch smaller than the coil diameter. Or maybe simpler, just go to an auto parts store and see what they can do for you as far as matching you up with...

    WTF...lost my power steering

Check the wiring to your rack. Maybe the low-speed actuator is faulty or not hooked up.

Gauging Interest: Whiteline Adjustable FRONT Swaybars (Reign_Maker approved)

An adjustable front sway-bar will only help with understeer/oversteer characteristics of the Supra if we can soffent them... The stock front sway is fine for handling given stiffer suspension springs...

    What have you damaged?

Steel strut bars are stronger than aluminum. Aluminum will flex a lot more.

doing a head gasket on a budget and a time frame

I am with this MDC guy. Sanding the block surface is good for a MHG. However I do disagree, 1500 grit sand paper will hardly do a damn thing to cast iron, sand in one area with it all you want. I am totally with the whoel wet-sanding with brake-clean thought.

doing a head gasket on a budget and a time frame

You've already done many a head jobs? Then just do this head job. It is not any different. If you need specs someone here can link you to the right site. If you're looking for quick and cheap in the absolute. Stock head gasket, reuse bolts, RTV all the intake gaskets unless they are in a...

    What have you damaged?

Heh, reminds me of when I first got my Turob Supra. It was my second Supra. I went to start it after leaving work one day. I pulled the park brake off and put the clutch in, turned the key and felt a thud. My Supra rolled into me bosses car. I just took off, no damage done.

Taking the bumper off is an easy way to gain more space to install anyhow. I like your thinking.

what tires do you like and why

If you want a good tire and do not drive often then go with Kumho Ecsta MX's. Lots of guys I know love them. Or go with the Potenza S03? (Stock tire on the STi). Those tires have a really stiff sidewall.

    Trying to fit a FMIC?.....

That is a good looking/sounding install. Looks like you still had to trim the hood latch support bracket? If I was going turbo with my Supra I would need to ask you for more detailed pictures of the install.

List what you guys have damaged while driving your Supras. A little story about each would be good too. Here is my list. Damaged 1: Bent right rear "toe" control arm, took a chunk out of right rear wheel and both rear tires, cracked rear bumper cover, clipped right rear brake line and...
