Yup but not too far from factory. When I dynoed last I had a very good tuner there with me to help with the adjustments of my SAFR, and I'm still a little rich just for a little room to play with.
Never got a PM back from you!
I agree with you, I don't think any of this damage happened until the track and the drive back to Austin. I think that it all started because of #6 loosing compression, the car down low almost seemed as if it has a BHG at low rpms. I guess it's my fault for racing it like that and making it...
When I lowered the pressure it was only to 30psi from the 32 it was at with the vac line on, so there should have been plenty of fuel with the 680's. I would think because it fires in batches the #1 Cylinder would have been messed up too, because they are on the same circuit IIRC. But all the...
Supra Central, What is weird is that when I my car had a BHG we thought that it was not firing so we tested it and it was fine. I also have a new wiring harness and checked it over and all seems good. Could it have run lean because of the oil getting by the ring and basically watering or...
Thanks Suprahero, but what is weird is that my injector works fine, just heard from Lonestar fuel injection and they said the injector flows at 674cc, supposed to be at 680.
Grim, thanks for the offer but I have the motor out and ready to take to them on Monday. We might be having a little...
Wow, guys lots of replies. I had to work with a friend yesterday and couldn't reply back. IJ, we don't have a problem with each other! Here is some background on what happened.
My motor got rod knock and I decided to get this block with new pistons and rings but all of my cylinders had good...
Here is what happened with less than 600 miles on the motor.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics...
Man I wish my car was running on all cylinders! I would've been right there with you guys! All well, I guess there is always next year!! It was a lot of fun running with you guys and meeting up with everyone! I bet we have atleast 3-4 class 2 mk3's running 11's.
I like this pic!
This one was when I lined up with the Porsche and we both ran 12.8 and he was so surprised that I was with him the whole way.
Thanks to everyone that helped me out this weekend! My car blew up on the last run and I was only running on 5 cylinders come to find out...
It was a great turn out and fun time! It was nice to see everyone and put a name to a face!! We had over 15 MK3's Drag racing and over 40 MK3's there on Sat. I'm pretty sure there were more MK3's than MK4's!!!
Ya me too!! It's been nice having a car that doesn't leak (knocks on wood) and runs good! I hope to have enough miles on it to do a good couple of pulls!
What are your mods? With a 2.0 you should run a 12.62 @113. That is what I ran, but I did have to shut it down before the end of the track though.:3d_frown:
There is a list of people that have already paid at the gate. You just tell them that you have prepaid and they will need your name and then you just pay the entrance fee!
Guys!! A miracle happened and I have a running car with a new motor. Been breaking it in and will be heading down...
