    You could also use a spray foam insulation such as Great Stuff. It has a higher R rating than fiberglass. It's messy and sticky, but it'll work quite well. Remember that it tends to expand when you fill, but once it dries, you can cut it, sand it, fill it, and paint it.

    You should check the code 22, and test accordingly(coolant temp sensor). The 11 could be from popping the efi fuse. Reset the ecu again.

    I'd check for vacuum leaks, first... I'm not really sure if that's a valve, or just a union up above the booster.

    Isn't there a one way valve in the vacuum line from the intake to the booster? If you have it backwards, could be your problem.

    If by "ignition," you're refering to the igniter, then yes, black is ground, and the other is pos. Are you getting spark from the coil now? Like Muzy said, check your fuses. You didn't cut any of the other wires at the igniter, correct? Just the two for the stock coil.

    I don't have a resistor in my 87 with the same coil. Used the stock wires from the ignitor, to. Sure you have pos. and neg. on the correct posts?

    removing the fuel injectors

    Make sure you lube the orings on both ends of the injectors before you install them. Helps them slide into the fuel rail and intake without getting pinched. A little light grease will work fine.

    Use your original harness/ecu. Just swap whatever sensors or electronics are different between the two motors, so that you're using your original stuff on the new long block, if you will.

    Further down the harness there is a plug. Figures you'd get to it, and the problem would disappear. Hate it when that happens.
