^^^ That could be the problem right there but then again if CPS wires weren't properly attached I'd doubt the car can start, let alone run well. Do you have oil all over the oil gallery? Are there oil leaking onto the sparkplug wire tubes? Are all of your lines and pipes connected correctly?
It's one of the easiest way and fastest to eliminate a lot of moving parts. Don't try to get a head of yourself. Take your time and go through it. The guessing game isn't fun on this car.
350z rotors (317.5mm) can be had for a lot cheaper.
Let's not get into names and such, I'm just going to list a few fast searches on ebay to compare prices. I didn't dig deeper to get better prices, I only spent a few minutes looking for some good prices.

Well, for one that rotor is a true 5x114.3 so maybe that's the reason he used it. The actual appearances between the 2 calipers )s500 and r350) are different. However, i'm sure they perform very close to each other if not the same. I know that 350z come with many different sizes of rotors too...
