The picture you saw on fb had an s500 caliper with a 12.5 350z rotor. 350z rotor = 317.5mm or 12.5" and R350 rotor = 330mm or 12.99" (according to google searches). While I was looking at calipers the r350 and S500 do share some of the same mounting points and calipers, depends on the year. But...

What I would do, and have done, is take the GTE motor and do the HG on it and drop it in your car along with the electronics that come with it. This will be the easiest process to turbo your car.

Phillips head screws to prevent over torqued of the valve covers. I used 10mm hex screws on my 7M, and of course I tried not to tighten them too much too. I would assume thread pitch on the 1G head is probably the same as the 7M so you can definitely do that.
