Twin scroll turbine, QSV, with a GTX would spool up nicely. Are you going for quicker spool, more power, or both?
How does your current 67/68 spool? How much boost, and when does it all come online?
I grabbed a Summit Racing Turbo muffler. 3" in dual 3" out. Most people don't realize that it's 3" out. It works dandy for me. Not fancy... just works.

I image you can find one with 2.5"...
Thanks, I knew about staying away from Oakland. I was looking South, but didn't know anything about it. I looked up The Castro and there's lots of pretty colorful flags posted everywhere. They also show pics of lots of very happy men hanging around. I'll have to look more into it.
!WARNING! I'm not a professional and please take my advice with a grain of salt.
Rewire WB, set Lex AFM adjustable screw all the way out, tap into E1 & Vf1 in diagnosis block with voltmeter, start adjusting fuel pressure to satisfy AFR's while within a good range with your Vf readings...
Physically take off all of your intercooler hoses and thoroughly inspect each one. Re-install tightening each clamp down good. Drive it and see if it does the same thing.
Fuel pump probably rusted over and seized. This is what mine looked like when I dumped the tank.
Somebody else was having a no start issue and pulled down his gas tank and found his fuel pump looked just like mine.
Imagine the junk that ran through your lines when you drove it home...
Looking to take the family to San Francisco and looking for some travel advice. I'm looking to stay a few miles away to save some money and wanted to advice as to which cities to stay away from. Which cities are ok to stay in, and which hotels are cool to stay at. I don't mind staying 25-30...
I would just run that block up to your local reputable machine shop and have them install new freeze plugs. They might do it on the spot and won't charge you much either.
Yeah, number cylinder has 9% leakage; car is stumbling cause of crude tune on MAPECU; exhaust leak; power steering leak; shocks are worn; I can go on and on. Don't want to bore you guys. I wish I could do everything I want to this car the "right" way, but money doesn't grow on trees in this...
It looks a little wobbly. You think I can open it up and shim the shaft with some duct tape to minimize the wobble? I saw on Mythbusters that you can fix or create anything with duct tape.
On a serious note, yeah... it's done. No, I can't afford to buy another turbo right now. Oh well. I...
My parents were freshmen in highshcool that year, and hadn't met yet. I didn't come around until 1974. I'll have to watch it later because we're stepping out of the house right now. I will watch it though.
I would plug the stock O2 sensor back in and tune to satisfy Vf. You may be having an issue with the MAPECU2 unit itself. Contact them to see if they can look at it. Do you have an afm you can put back on just to cruise around in case you do have to send it off?
