You can try adjusting the cable for your throttle that comes across the top half of your engine. You can see it in this picture just up and to the left of the BOV.
There are two cables on there if you have cruise. Pretty easy to tell which one goes to the cruise control. Can't remember off...
I'm with jdub. Any relief on the cooling system is never a bad thing. There's a reason you don't see people with a radiator oil cooler tranny cooler intercooler all in one set of fins :biglaugh:
Might be possible...but not practical and DEFINITELY not efficient.
If you can remember how you took things apart, it goes back together the same way ;). I did some searching though and found this....might want to get this stickied if it isn't already actually....

Yeah, I saw that and kind of figured. I wonder if they'll try and reschedule the drag portion to next week (Aug 28). I'll hopefully be heading there with my buddy and his '87 Turbo...we just got the boost controller in this last weekend :)
I would personally take a look at it first. Bring a mechanically inclined buddy along. Wouldn't touch it if you couldn't drive it. The price is a little high, but I wouldn't say it's too far off for a car around here (I'm in Abbotsford). Depends on if you need to rebuild the engine, etc.
Always always always do a visual inspection of your pad wear when dealing with odd noises. If pads wear funny, they can definitely sound funny. When doing a visual inspection, make sure you check top bottom and middle of both the inside and outside pad. To be safe if I'm concerned about it...
Do check your CPS wires, wiggle them around, see if anything happens differently.
Also try looking at your plug wires while cranking during the night. If you've got a bad connection or cracked boot or something it will arc and you will see it. If you feel brave you can feel in and around...
Any word as to what's happening on the Friday? If there's gonna be a bunch of Supras/MR2s at the track I wanna head out. Unfortunately it won't be with my car, but it would be cool none the less.
Looks fine to me. You going to leave it venting to atmosphere or you going to recirculate it? Keep in mind the pig rich shifts if you're leaving it just to atmosphere ;)
Sounds like you're off to a good start at least. You should do something with the bottom end of the engine (rods, hardware, pistons). If you don't have ARP hardware for your head bolts/studs and a metal headgasket, add that to the list. Make sure you have a clutch that can handle the power.
You're joking right? You should be able to easily search and find TONS of info on doing pretty much the entire top end...it's done enough on our cars ;). Yes it might take a little time, and you might have to look at information in more than one thread (oh noes reading more than one page!)...
I can't seem to find it right now but there was a great guide as to what you need to do/think about when aiming for different horsepower brackets. Maybe someone else will know what I'm talking about and link it. I'll let you know what I can think of off the top of my head right now.
Obvious...
Peanuts and styrofoam work better than bubble wrap if you haven't sent it out already. Bubble wrap is great until it starts popping and you don't want those heads crashing on platters inside the drive.
