I'll take a look tomorrow if nobody gets to it before then.
I know one guy installed it even further back than the flex section and routed the cable through a body plug on the underside of the car.
I bought a graphik lip. It's not a very good product. I'm estimating it's going to take 3-4 hours just to get it ready to paint. Not impressed with the overall fit either.
Avast! is very good as is AVG... Both are free and as good as top-tier retail software. I run Avast on most of my machines coupled with an adware/spyware blocker and scanner.
Of the pay services, Trend Micro is good. Avoid Norton and McAfee if possible - they are a bit buggy.
Aluminum skid plates and undertrays are available for many cars, so the material is probably a good choice. I have never seen one for a car like the Supra though.
Not saying it looks horrible (or that it mattered if it did) - I'm just really happy I did mine.
Speaking of which - what's the best way to clean that off - I have a motorcycle exhaust that looks similar I want to clean.
Definitely detach it from the block - I wasted a huge amount of time taking off and re-installing the turbo with the drain still connected to the block. Very hard to torque to the turbo in the car. Not to mention the oil that I used to prime the turbo poured out on the gasket when I installed...
Yeah, it would be nice if they placed the bung further downstream. Maybe it has to do with the clearance on the MK3 underbody? It seems like most places I looked the 02 sensor would need to be clocked quite a bit.
I am going to see how long my first 02 sensor lasts in the provided location...
Almost every new car smells like rotten eggs when pushed really hard. It is from the new catalytic converter breaking in. It normally takes a few thousand miles to get rid of the smell.
If you have bad odors beyond this break-in period, your catalytic converter is overheating because of...
I don't have any clue why, but I am in love with the grey/green one. Not normally my style at all - not to mention I hate VW's. There's just something about that one....:icon_bigg
I don't suppose there is any way you could find out what color that is?
I don't really spend much time on the color changes I do for people here. It's just a matter of taking the lasso and separating the areas you want changed from the areas that are to be left alone. Just use the -add and -subtract area lassos to get the fine details.
I actually use the...
I have to agree with you there. I am also tall - as well as having wide shoulders - makes it very hard to fit in many cars - the Supra fits perfect. It was always sort of unbelievable to me that I could fit into a 2 door Toyota so well!
I used to work for Volvo. They are renowned by most people as having THE most comfortable seats. The Supra seat is the only one I have sat in that is even close to the newer Volvo seats for comfort - and it's right on par with them. I think they're great!
Well, weather turned for the worst, so no pics yet.
The pipe from the turbo is a 2.5" diameter 18" long pipe with a 45 degree bend in the middle. It attaches to the turbo with a 2.0" -> 2.5" reducer.
The other pipe is straight and approximately 7" long. I have a little play in my setup...
