Hey bud i hope you dont mind me asking a few questions bout the 1.5jz setup,
i just bought the block/crank/ cams and the whole water pump assembly. i dont want to clutter up this thread but just a fair warning that i maybe having some questions here real soon :) im trying to have this beast...
Would you say that the pro is much better than map ecu (runing a 1jz here)
Ive heard map ecu is very easy to tune! but full throttle tech are about an hour away from me (based out of MI) so that might be easier for me if i ever need help!
Im sure pro has more features like everyone says...
yes 5.5 back spacing is what you need, there is still plenty of room between my tire and the strut. my issue was it was rubbing on the outside on the tire. it would rub on the quarter panel slightly and thats with a rolled panel, but you can adjust your camber just a few degrees and you should...
50 and yes stock height.
I actually just figured out a way , i messed with the camber a couple degrees to make the tires toe in just a tiny bit, and clears perfect.
You will rub on the 5.5 backspacing, that what i have, i also have my fenders rolled on stock suspension! you must roll the fenders, even with that you will slightly rub still, here is mine
Bringing this back from the dead as it has very good info, power goals are around 550-600.
You guys think map ecu 1 would be good?
