How deep does the pilot go into the crank? when you say it has little play, how much are we talking ? when you lay the flex plate down, and set the converter on it, does the face mate nice and even with out using the converter bolts.

Yes R154 , It is in the car with a spec stage 3 clutch setup. all thats left is a little more wiring, master cylinder/pedal. and fluids.

Jay, I think that car was in the deep 500's . I have never ran into this issue with my setups before. but both my setups I used a stock flywheel. Dan, when you pulled the converter off and ran the engine, did you keep the ati flexplate on there?

No trac control, would spin from a dig, but if I clean the tire by doing a quick spin, I usually never had a problem with 40+mph rolls.

Not really, well i guess it really depends on what your doing with the car. Not sure what power level your talking about but i had radials on my vette and at that time the car was making 641 rwhp and running back to back mid 9's all day. You are correct on corner ability, too soft of sidewalls.

Get some MT drag radials and call it a day (275/45)

Well some plans changed, went with a different turbo setup, picked up a koyo rad (needs a little tlc) ran all my IC piping, STILL waiting on my trans :/ also relocated battery in the trunk with and outside kill switch. here is a teaser
