mkiiSupraMan18:Yeah its a 5spd.
About the ricy-ness, its crazy to see the shameful glares you get from people. I have'nt been to the parts store once without getting the evil eye from someone. Maybe I just need to come to terms with my "inner ricer".:biglaugh:
I paid 1700 for it. Its a '91 GS (non-vtec)
The interior is a mixed bag. The previous owner reupholstered the seats in black leather and did a real good job, however he also spray painted the door panels:3d_frown: . The write-up on SF about painting the interior has been a big help so i'm in...
The body kit is definately not my style. The previous owner screwed up the stock bumper and a body kit was cheaper (so he says...:gotrice:
After driving it, I can understand how ricers could think that their cars are fast. Its so light and stripped down, 70mph feels like 90.
The exact same thing happened to me. Mine was due to a broken fan shroud. Whats really lame is that I knew the shroud was cracked for months before it broke. I know what you mean by "EXPLODE" because when that thing rips off it sounds horrible.
Actually dude, I know exactly the episode your talking about. I saw it several months ago. They're always busting drug fiend's for the stupidest things on that show. I guess the moral of the story is if your gonna smoke crack then know when to use a turn signal.:biglaugh:
Theres nothing rice about wanting a little more pep in your DD. I dunno about visual upgrades though; If the car actually looks like an "everday POS" then I'm not sure window tint would really help the cause.
Post up some pics. Lets see this beast!:naughty:
I think Noxides car is going to turn out pretty cool. It's off the wall innovations like Noxide's that keep the same platform interesting from year to year.
Also, I think a MK4 TRD spoiler would look pretty good. The shape of it would help balance out the "wide ass effect" of the mustang tails.
^^ A Clockwork Orange is definately cool. What about Soilent Green? That was a pretty good one. Also Street Fighter, the old one with Sonny Chiba. Its like a cult classic around here.
Is it just me or has the number of crashed Supras really peaked lately? As for welding on a new front end, I dunno. I had that done once on a '91 camaro and that car ate a ridiculous amount of front tires, but your mileage may vary.
I live on the Texas gulf coast. I've never seen snow in person in my entire life (17). Everytime I here you guys talk about snow/winter tires or "racing season" it just seems wierd to me. I'd be sooooo paranoid about salty roads causing rust.
The MAF-T gave me 36HP!
I did have the AVCR+Lex/550 combo but I figured that the MAF-T's A/F tracking would deliver a better tune. The guy that installed it says that he's having problems getting the car to idle down, but that I should have it back this evening. He also said that the...
I'm guessing "v-mount" = "top mount"? This dude did it with a 1jz.

Maybe it would work with alot of money.
