    Too much boost!!! Help!!

You can run a restricting plate at the turbo elbow to downpipe connection. Just get 2 exhaust gaskets for that flange. Then cut a piece of sheetmetal of the same shape and drill the 3 bolt holes. Next get a holesaw and make a 2 inch hole in the center. Put the piece of sheetmetal in between the...

    Jeff's 2JZ Powered MK3 Build

What fan was that one that wrecked the rad? Was it the original 2J fan? And what did you do to fix the damage?

    Steering Rack replacement questions?

The rack is leaking. But if you seal the boots on the outer tie rods then it can prevent a leak to the actual atmosphere. That is what my car is like. It is leaking inside the rack and into the boot. It is possible to rebuild a rack or get a re-manufactured one. Finding a brand spanking new one...

    roll cage approval?

You should read the Formula D rule book. You want DOM tubing. The guys in Drift Union were enforcing running in tandem with gutted doors and no cage a while back. You need to have a cage if you are going to do that. But I have seen a lot of leniency for people doing tandem without a cage. Still...

steering mod , think it would work?

Someone needs to weld up a bunch of knuckles with a variety of methods. Then attack them with sledgehammers lol.

    Powersteering Pump belt

Are you sure it is the high pressure line? Because mine blew while driving and I pulled over at a mechanic shop. They pulled a GM rubber hose out of the trash and let me replace my hose. It's been good ever since. It was the one that just slips on(no special crimped fittings).

steering mod , think it would work?

Frame work on trucks is a good example. Like when airbagging a truck or cutting out a part of the frame on a truck and replacing it. You have your initial weld where you weld the 2 sections of frame rail together. But you must also weld plates to the outside of the frame rail to distribute the...

    Project 88 MKIII - A Calgary build

I never like paying for labour. $1230 to replace heater core? That is madness. But there is no denying that it will be a nice Supra. Dam it already is nice.

steering mod , think it would work?

So basically you are all saying that this should not be done because it will break for certain. But what would it take to break a properly welded steering knuckle? Most likely it would require driving into a curb at a fast speed or something. Has anyone here seen a Nissan break a tie rod while...

steering mod , think it would work?

I'm planning on doing it this winter too. My welder can weld up to 1/2 inch thick so I'm hoping to get lot's of penetration. I am going to try cutting and welding a pair of toyota pickup knuckles to see how the metal fuses. Then I will do my Supra knuckles once I get the hang of it. But you need...
