I don't know if this has been addressed or not (I searched and really didn't see much), but when adding a short runner FFIM during a NA-T swap, what parts (if any) can be swapped over from a 2jzgte to keep everything functioning? Joey

But finding someone that does them is my biggest dilemma.

I always wondered its purpose. Even though it's basic, I still want a quality build. It sucks being poor.lol

Are they truly a necessity? The reason I'm asking this is because I really can't find no one that does them locally so I'm just looking like :shrug: for the time being. I'm just trying to do a basic rebuild because I'm not looking for 500 hp, just a reliable 375-400.

I searched and haven't found anything info on this. (just probably don't know what to search for) But the shop that I plan on taking my block to do a rebuild doesn't do anything with the rods. I have been reading that shotpeening is a needed step when rebuilding but I can't find anyone to do it...
