To me it sounds like a whine. Kind of like a supercharger if you will but obviously not as loud. If i can't figure out if it's the turbo or the bov i'll end up posting a vid. But for now i really can't do much its dark to do anything. (crossing my fingers is just the bov)

I would say no, most people get the N/A one because of the voltmeter and get ahold of a turbo tach. The stock boost guage is inaccurate and pretty much useless.
