Actually, I would use the USDM sensors on your old motor. I did the same as you, but my CSI time switch on the JDM wasn't gettting the job done. I would have to try 3 times to get the car running. I checked the CSI for fuel and that worked, but the resistances on the time switch weren't...

I'd pressurize that sucker. But the compression might be a little too high to like too much boost. I suppose you could get thicker MHG to bring it down some, but just a thought.
