it might, Just yank it off the car grab a TSRM and a digital multimeter and Check to see if it's good or bad.... if it's bad just go to O'reilly auto parts and get one for $200.

the obx headers do wonders but they do require Little modifications to work right.... First the flange that bolts to the head.. the right side interferes with the distributer... so you have to grind on the flange... then get teh 2 piece welded to 1 piece and the pipe that bolts to the header is...

I always go with NGK V-Power, You will see a big running difference if your plugs were screwed up in some way ie.. Old, or fouled. They are like $7 for 6 of them at O'Reilly Auto Parts. I hope that helped unless u already swaped them out with something else... Since this thread is OLD AS HELL...

to keep the valve open is easy.... Just disconnect the single vaccum hose going to the thing... then its stuck open, you'll notice that there is almost no low end and you'll see the same gains at high rpm.+
