Notice which car he ISN'T trading...

Definitely not arguing with any of those points. If not for a still healthy market on them, I think a 355 (or even a 348) might be a pretty sweet car to have. On the subject of the Supra/Ferrari, what was that one guy's name again? You know who I'm talking about... up there in the infamy circle...

    Don't be alarmed!

-Should be able to get them from Toyota. If not, try Rock Auto. -Salvage yard car, it all depends on the life of the car. A car that spent its life in the garage with the doors rarely locked, probably going to have door lock guts that are in fantastic shape. However, that car is likely also in...

Tire Pressures.... what do you run?

I had these tires on my car when I bought it. Long as you don't mind a bit of sidewall wiggle, I would recommend no more than 30psi in the rear. 25-30 out back and 32-35 psi up front is what I would run on my car. :)

Dude, Koren candy/treats are pretty awesome. Girlfriend used to work with a guy that would bring in all sorts of stuff to share. :)

Tell me more about GMC Typhoon...

Not surprised at the NSX losing with the auto trans... the Supra driver kinda sucks though, those were 13 second cars from the factory. :nono: That said, Astro van in Japan? I would LOVE to see what they would make of one of those considering what they do to some of the vans I've seen... I'd...

1946 Chevy Fleetmaster 2-door, meet "Betty"...

I could get an old 235 from my brother, and they're so near bullet proof, that Toyota based the design of the old Landcruiser I6 on the Chevy 235 design. However, for what I paid for the Lexus, I should be able (theoretically anyway) be able to get this car up and running over the winter if I...

[1jzgte-MA70] I keep hitting the FC on cold days(night)

Odd... I'm almost certain I have the stock 370cc injectors, and I run upwards of 17psi, although my AFR is approaching lean conditions by then.

    Removing that little Trim panel?

They're pretty common to find in other Toyotas too. Found a few of them tinkering with the LS last night... Sure would be nice if we had someone who made fresh ones for our cars, for those of us whose mounting tabs have become brittle over time and broken off... ;)

Towing A Supra Without Rotors or Suspension?

Looks like you have your work cut out for you... at least you have a nice sized garage to work with, that is always nice! :)

    New to SM, need advice!

Long as you have a reliable daily driver so you're not depending on the Supra, they're great cars to own. If you found one in decent shape for a fair price, and can live with spending most of your paycheck on the Supra, I say go for it. They are addicting though... ;)

    I missed you guys

Howdy. I always thought I wanted a Camaro when I was younger, then I bought a 2001 SS. Had another Supra within 5 months. :p Now, had I had the Camaro before the Supras, I wouldn't have known any better. Still miss the LS1 and T56 once in a while though, I'll admit that much.

Tire Pressures.... what do you run?

I run ~35-36 up front, and 28-29 out back. Gives a nice balance of traction in the rear and and steering feel in front. 275/40/17 Nitto NT05's all around.

    Test run engine stand

I'm with these guys, unless you have spare electronics that are normally bolted to the car to use for testing purposes... For the most part, yeah. Only really hard one I can think of is the banjo bolt at the back of the head.

    sloppy shift

Try not to rely on your synchros so much, and you'll be a smoother driver. :) All about timing. ;)

What does it take to go E85? Advantages/Disadvantages?

No kidding JJ... only recently has E85 been made available, at ONE station that I've noticed so far. Most of the other ones have "NO ETHANOL" or, "NO CORN FUEL HERE" signs up. Ignorance at its best... then again, most people around here would be too busy trying to figure out how to stuff creamed...
