Centerforce Dual Friction II. Held 484 rwhp and lasted 50,000 miles for me with proper break in. Pulled it out and was still fine. Didn't reuse because I was looking to exceed 600 rwhp at the time.
I shoulda kept it... :)
It looks like you have a 3.8L motor according to your previous posts (don't know if that will effect anything or not) and you have TPS start set at 3.7V. On my car, my TPS voltage doesn't even go that high. Mine stops at around 3.6 or 3.65. Also see my post in the other thread about how you...
I also believe the good Doc is working on new documentation as well for the firmware version. As for your boost problem, do you have any pics of how you have the solenoid? Where are you taking the vacuum/pressure signal from? Directly from the turbo actuator or something else? It almost...
The simplest thing that I did to relocate mine with the normal SP61GT is to trim off the long piece of the metal bracket that the PS reservoir mounts to and mount the rear most hole of the bracket on the reservoir to the forward hole. You now only have one bolt holding it in, but it also ends...
Autometer with electric sender. Drilled and tapped a hole for it on the blank for the thermostat housing. A mechanical one needs the actual coolant to flow to the gauge for a reading. Not what I would choose to do, go electric instead. The gauge is mounted on top off the black plastic cover...
I think 2Kwik is referring to pressure testing the cooling system itself. With the motor off, the pressure tester will force the coolant out of the leaking spot without the added distraction of having the motor running.
Also, be sure to thoroughly clean both the intake manifold surfaces and...
I'm sorry about not posting my settings yet. I'm going TDY for 2 months so the car is on the back burner. I set up everything according to the quick start guide, the boost control to 17 psi according to someone else's post either here or on Mkiiitech, and the only other change I made was using...
On a side note, is there any way around the Code 24 which I think is the air temp signal? If I remember right, it is only because the stock ECU is not getting the answer it needs quick enough, but the MAFT Pro still gets what it needs.
I'll try to post my settings later today...
I read about a lot of these problems, but I am running 4.65 right now and it idles and runs perfect! Haven't boosted past 10 psi yet, but the car is running strong. I like it...
It's a Tundra fan and after my own personal experience, it will pull a crapload of air. But be warned, it will lock up often and hurt your fuel economy, but if you have your foot in it a lot, you probably don't care about MPG anyway! Also, it is louder if that matters at all.
