Two possibilities here: valve stem seals and bhg...as noted by other posters. Differentiating question: How much condensation do you get out of the exhaust? If there's more of a water drip than normal, I'd put real money on a blown head gasket; bad valve stem seals wouldn't let enough coolant...

Do it. I've driven an 89 in both turbo and non- variants in stock form...it may not look like it on paper, but the 7mgte with an r154 behind it is much faster, and quite a bit quicker than the NA/w58 combo. As far as daily drivability, though, you might want to consider staying NA; the turbo...

Got a price quote today...$4300 for a set with those exact dimensions from Donz Forged, including serious custom work to the rim face to make it concave for that offset. Not bad for 3-piece custom wheels....time to make more phone calls.
