yes its pretty damm loud, but the silencer does quiet it down alot.. but restricts flow too. i drilled my silencer out and i love it now...

ive always used a crow bar to hold the flywheel by a tooth pressed against one of the nubs that stick out of the block as a leverage point and set the bottom of it on a jackstand.. watch your head... here is a very quick pik of what im trying to say..

doesnt the stock boost gauge max out at 8psi on the 91? sounds like it just shorted somewhere in the wireing or inside the gauge??, get a good aftermarket vacume opperated gauge to atleast 20-30psi so you know when your overboosting... could be the boost reference sensor too?

check all your vacume lines, especially to the waistgate actuator? or do you mean just when it starts up and stays there when not under boost?
