yo yo... you kno ill be there... starting to have some engine probs now though... low oil pressure. Im suspecting shitty bearings. I'll be looking into a used motor to drop in soon. :( this sux.
I havent done any air fuel tuning yet, but i would think that a SAFC type controller would be very handy in doing this. Theres so many how to's on this site as far as the steps to achieve your goals goes. I'd suggest looking through some of those. Its not so easy to just up the boost to fuel cut...
Hm i thought i was seeing double or the thread name was changed, someone started the same thread earlier. Check here:

I dont think it so much absorbs heat, i think it produces more of a spreading action instead of the heat coming up and concentrating on one spot ( probably eventually have a heat spot on your hood above the turbo side)
Fuel cut is a defense system for your motor. As you already should know, running lean is deadly. If your motor loses the ability to supply enough fuel for the amount of air your turbo is packing in, you will detonate. Detonation will not only mess up pistons, throw rods, etc, but also likely...
im starting to think that my door sensor ( the one that says if the door is open or closed) is broken... i think i may get into that with a multimeter and see what it tells me. The light DOES operate if i pull up the handle from the outside.
would that be the same issue if the light comes on if i operate outside drivers door handle and also works if i open passenger door from inside or out, but the opening of the driver side door from the inside doesnt trigger it. Tricky tricky my little supra u are
Looks good man... good luck wit that
Yeh.. i had to explain that to a few people in school " yo do the sleepy eyes thing to ur car it looks so cool"
I was forced to reply "no, its gay. Leave that to the 240's... not to mention its forbidden in supraland."
depends on how bad it is, maybe some polishing compound then some wax would do it some good, but maybe the clearcoat is just shit now rendereing it about as useful as polishing a turd.
stock is @ or around 6.8 like he said, if you were pushin the limits of the stock boost gauge without any mods, something must have been wrong, or changed.
Its not all bout the look though, The stock hood is heavy, Whereas carbon fiber isnt :icon_bigg. not only is it less to lift up ( cuz god knows us 7m people are under the hood constantly) but it also saves some weight on that heavy front end.
haha we used to make fun of my friend chad cuz he was all hollisteresque... just thought id share that cuz i laughed when i saw hollister... havent hung out with him in years
That is what we call excessive camber, you get that because of the angles of your suspension are set for a certain height. Like Ij said, the rear isnt as adjustable as the front, but when you're creative you can find ways about it. Set her on an alignment rack and goto town
