Makes sense. And for that flexible filler product, whats the maximum thickness that stuff can go on? Could it be used to fill over the entire license plate indent or just to smooth it out after you put another piece in place?

That's not what I've heard, though I could be wrong.

I think it fits the automatics and the NA model's manual gearbox (w58), but not the turbo model's manual tranny (R154). I'm not completely sure but I remember hearing something like that.

Interesting, but our hoods are rather large compared to the neon in the picture so I doubt you would get it to open a whole lot.

That is one nice fitting interior, talk about fitting like a glove. A few of the leather replacement interiors look like they're kinda baggy in areas but certainly not the case with yours.
