Depends on condition of the car: I bought a mkiii for a hundred bucks, stripped it for parts for me and sold the shell to junk yard for a hundred bucks. Got a lot of great parts for me, and sold parts that I knew would sell to Supramania members, yep, I made money on this car.

Yep, the wires are new, the coil packs (Im guesing, is probaly still original). engine grounds are good. Igniter reground?? Please explain. yes, your right, I could start as you describe. What about the C.P.S?? Couldn't the C.P.S have a bad bearing causing the pick ups to have more or less gap...

What test can I do at home to see if I have a secondary ignition problem. How do I know if I have a problem with the secondary ignition? I've had this same missfire at idle before and after I rebuilt the engine, so it can't be valve's. Besides this missfire is not consistant I would like to try...

What I mean is if you look closely the "T.R.D. Source one is just "T.RD." in red letters, and the ebay one's has the "T.R.D." flag and "T.R.D. not just "T.R.D. in red, that doesn't mean it's a knock off since I don't know how many differnt style's "T.R.D. offer's.....no I not saying it's a knock...
