well. from my personal experince: when I put it on sport, the lights never drop past two lights. When I have it on Normal it goes between two and one light. This no help to you was it, you already knew this didn't you. maybe beacuse your shocks are so worn, the computer doesn't qiuet know what...
What kind of answer am I looking for??
The replys from you guys is the answer I"m looking for. I'm just looking for an education that's all. Just wondering why some people run ddp or recirculated, and what are the difference's, and is there a advantage to either one.
It sounds to me an...
O.K Then let me ask you this, I have a "Lipp" Elbow with a ct/26, aren't those two exhaust gasses right smack next to each other?? Isn"t that creating turbulance? I see your point about the two gasses causing turbulance.
RE: stock elbow: Maybe that was Toyota's way of straightening the air flow...
seems to me that a recirculated system defeats the purpose of having an external waste gate.,if it goes back in to the exhaust and not the atmosphere, don't you get less power By having it go back to the exhaust?
Why have an external w.g. if your gonna recirculate it back in the exhaust.
I don't see how anyone could do that I'd be to scared to walk away, with car in neutral my lucky the brake would fail or some dumb ass would bump the car and it's 'bye bye" car. then it would be your fault.
Why do you guys run a divorced/recirculated down pipe? I know the wastegate has it's own seperate pipe, but what the advantage? more power? more noise? Faster spooling what's the deal??
If it's more power then why do some of you guys/ gals run recirculated? to reduce noise? I don't get...
Someone help a newber out: I dont' know much about timers. Nor do I have one but: Has anyone installed a timer in manual tranny If, so then do you stay with your car untill timer is done or do you leave your car in neutral with parking brake on what do you guys do. Or do I not understand the...
Hijack: just curious, why did you install an "speed source Innercooler pipe? Isn't it only a 2 inch pipe? ( I read their web site) That's smaller than stock.
yep, this guys is pretty generous, H'e done a couple of things for me not just the light. I had another problem that he worked on (can't remember) that he spent alot of time on, but only charge me for maybe about 2/3 of the time he spent on it, he let a couple of hours "go" because I guess it...
The needles pull right off try using just your fingers at first then if that does't work then try the two fork method, one on each side and pry it straight up. I would place something under the forks to protect the gauge face, it will resist at first but, they come off fairly easy.
I recommend...
That's good idea, except there are times when you need to have the car so the tech can dianose it. I just need to have the power cut down, so he/she can go lay rubber, go for a spin, and have a fun time in my car.
A"real" oil filter. (Smart)!! Trans computer, see these are things that I never knew about. This is why "S.M" is cool, I learn all the time,...Thanks "J Dub"
Simple = better,..at least for me. Well,...Time to order my short shifter mybe that will lower my e.t.'s:rofl:
Just from reading some of the threads here, everynow and then someone will bring a car for sevice when they get it back, the shop wrecked this this or something happened while it was in the shop, and it wasn't like that when they brought it in. I'm looking for ideas like a secret switch will...
