1j's are good engines. They have a rather healthy aftermarket here in Japan but if you live in the States I say just stay your 7M. Parts for 1J's are rather hard to come buy there. Though 1j's are prone to BHG:)

I say get some Dunlop Direzza's. Its a good tire that seems to be pretty popluar over here in Japan. I'am personally rockin' Falken 512's on my ride and am pretty pleased so far.
