No problem.. :) Are you jumpering the diagnostic plug when you set the timing like in this link?

JJ: You need to get it up to 88mph+ and then you will see some serious sh*t!!!:icon_razz
That link is in all of our sigs.. lmao... :) Good point Jetjock.
He has a new thread going already that is almost in the form of a question.. He is getting better..
^^^ Yabba... Also for giggles, check your codes. Code 51 can make it hard to set the timing, but I don't think that will explain the overheating issue.
Are you going to make us guess at your question or are you making a statement? Read this please. Welcome to the forums.. ;)

Here is a website that has some pictures and possibly some useful information on how to properly wire it ..(not always on)
I don't know how accurate any of this info is, it is just something I found..

Here is a list of instructions from...

2) For the head bolts, it is just a hex or allen socket available at any auto parts store.
Are there five rivets in that gasket or am I seeing things?
Four of them look like they may be an issue to me but I don't know about that or reusing it.
What did the instructions say that came with the gasket if there were any?
Socc924: Do you mean the block surfaced? That would make more sense than the head alone..
Also, Take a square and flat piece of wood and set it on a flat counter top. Now slide a penny under the front (passenger side) corner where the rivet would be.
Notice the rear (passenger side)...
I did not say that it was his problem, only that it could be.>> "If"
To say that it is ridiculous, is ridiculous!
