Got the car back from DriftMotion last night.

Yes I got it back tonight and im in love.
The AEM is great, has lo and hi settings as well as many other features. Also has different face colors and 2 bezel colors although I stuck with black face with black bezel.
I gotta say tho, im learning how to drive all over again with this car...
Yeah I got my dual pod in hand too so i'll have to decide what else to put in there. But as for the AEM unit, asl Aaron or Jose about it. I think its the first one theyre testing/installing but I could be wrong.

I havent tried it jet because DriftMotion is installing it but I get the car tomorrow night so i'll see how it is. We decided on this unit because of its features and price and from what I read and gathered, it holds boost up to 29 psi very well no leaks. So I said yeah, go with that...
Yeah I brought my camera and noticed the lighting there was good but later in the afternoon would have been better. If the strut brace wasnt so shiny, it would have been a really good smooth shot.
Oh and I got a call from Jose, he was trying to talk but I couldnt understand a word because there was a lot of engine noise in the background. It kept revving and getting louder as he tried to talk. Then it got quiet and he said, what do you think of your new engine? lol...he said it turned...
Yes you do get what you pay for but also remember there are a number of things that determine output performance other than the color temp. The housing design is obviously the first and most important thing. A bad headlight housing will have a bad output no matter what kind of HID you use...
And you think 8000K will be better?
I suggest you do some reading on lighting.
The 8000K bulbs will just be bluer and dimmer on the road.
If you want more useable light, use between 4100K and 6000K (preferable 5000K for some color and decent output) and you should be happy.
