Check the vacuum line going to the boost pressure sensor on the drivers fender looking for leaks.
I would also inspect the turbo for shaft play and the IC pipes for leaks.

At 90 degrees ambient, for R134a systems, look for about 200- 220 Pressures on the high side and about 25-30 Pressures on the low side at idle, and at 1,500 RPM look for about 220- 230 Pressures on the high side and about 20-27 Pressures on the low side.
I guess it's actually against the clutch fan housing? And you need a fairly hefty flat screwdriver and put your wrench on the next nut on top.

JJ: I agree with you on high idle from code 51, but 2700rpm seemed too high for that to be code 51 related to me? Especially when he unplugged it and it did not change his idle at all. Just checking to see if my thinking is accurate so far?
I use a screwdriver and wedge it between the water pump studs and the water pump housing to keep it from turning.
If all the bolts are out, lightly tap on the housing with a rubber hammer to free it loose.
I have always used an actual gasket and a small amount of sealer.
