oh i was referring to the exhaust gases that come from the exhaust mani, i always thought that some of those gases would mix with the air from the filter in the turbo, and both went into the intercooler piping, then the intake mani. just looked it up and i guess i was toooootally wrong. sorry...

how much hp does an intercooler add to a supercharged setup? i thought the whole point of it was to cool the hot exhaust gases, which blowers dont have

3dsmax is awesome for modelling, it's just not as easy to make the dimensions perfect. you can do it, it'll just take longer than programs that are meant for high precision

well when you first create the objects, they can move freely through each other, but i'm sure you could easily setup a dynamic property to the surfaces of the objects so that they don't interfere with each other but right off the bat, i'm 85% sure you can't do that
