i'm getting an aftermarket flywheel but i don't know yet if i want to kevlar my stock clutch or get a aftermarket one. So my question is does the stock pressure plate bolt up to an aftermarket flywheel just incase i go w/ the kevlar?
i was thinking about not using power steering w/ my 1j so just wanted to know what you guys think about no power steering? is it really hard to turn w/out PS or can i manage?
okay my c12a's haven't been ran 4 a while and one of them is not spinning very well. the other one seems to be fine but this guy told me it just needs to be lubed and cleaned. so he said pour some brake cleaner or something like that in to the turbo to clean it. could anyone tell me what he is...
i have an aeromotive FPR that i wanted to use on my 1j but i don't know if a 1j has a return line. Is it better to hookup the FPR on the return line or the line sending in fuel? Could i use the FPR for my 1jz?
i found out 1 of my turbos are blown so i was thinking bout using the c12bs if i couldn't find c12a but i don't know how 2 make the c12bs work on the 1j and how difficult it is? Have any idea?
Do you know where to drill the hole then mount the stud? Does the c12a's intake piping that bolt up to the compressor side of the turbo bolt up 2 the c12b's?
I just found out last week that i got a blown turbo w/ my motor from osaka (don't ever buy from that place even though it is cheap) and i heard that w/ modifications you could fit the c12b's on the 1jz. Could anyone tell me what the modifications are that needs to be done to make the c12b's work?
To do a good 1j swap do i really have to use a 2jz water pump and fan? Or is it just a choice? If i don't change them is it going to effect me in the long run?
