as its been said and proven the w58 is more of a sports transmission the R154 is a heavy duty transmission hence the notchy shifting. It's not as bad as most would think ;)

R154 internals are just about the same as the R151 4x4 truck tranny same bearings and synchro's

True, I ordered a kit from a local shop real cheap with NSK bearings and some good stuff. They're well known for toyota transmissions for the 4wd's r151's but if the stock stuff can last 200k then im happy with it! I really don't want to do this agian and I even have new thrust washers! But i...

I'll be in houston for a week! Comming down to visit family and to find a new job! Eventually I'll move back home to the Woodlands!
