ya big cams for the 22re is just waste in less your carb or stand alone the stock ecu just really does not like them and the mild ones don't do ditty

hate to say it but cams on 22r's well umm are use less they really don't do much of any thing besides confuse the computer
but you can get older cam and swap it in there better then the newer gen ones
7mge afm and throttle body will wake it up alot mixed wiht baster coil good to go
ps...
barring is barring for a 22re's, they don't really need really just fill them full of sand and you good to go hahaha
but really you cna make the 22re move good just takes some small addons
header (good upgrade)
supra afm.... just swap the eletrocnits over (good upgrade)
msd blaster coil...
I don't care this is my obsvation I did not like it when I was having fun at auto x or windy roads, funny part is I ended up with 2 adjustments
stock grade that comp sates for road crown, and = for back in the track day when I installed my 2 way lsd to keep my SAI in track
the stock sencores is grounded to the ecu it's best to ground there easy way to test this is pull back the sheeting and then do a beep test ei or restaince test you can even move the harness around in the intake manifold whail testing
if it works put a new plug on and call it a day, if...
you can thank me later but grab a torsion bar form Cecilia gts/gt or it will fit since the car was so light not sure of the gt but I did know the gts had longer streeing arms
