id make sure that your oil pressure reading is accurate before making any changes. A plugged oil filter or even a stuck pressure relief valve could also cause an issue with high oil pressure

there is a hanger that slides into a rubber gromet up top, and you can unbolt it from the exhuast for easier removal. You cant see it in the installed pic because its on the opposite site, and its been unbolted in the pic of it off the car. I found a picture of something similar, hopefully close...

sounds like the guides on the crank gear could be missing, they keep the timing belt strait and centered on the gears

i would do that but any rpm change makes the noise go away, and when pulling the wires off the engine rpm changes a lot and i wont hear it

Any more input on this? Yes it does sound like a valve tap but its not audible through either of the cam covers. EDIT: By the way, when i had my machine work done i also had the exhaust manifold studs helicoiled, had the exhaust manifold planed flat, and installed a new quality gasket, so there...

Make damn sure you take that cam off/put it on in the correct order, or you could very well end up with a broken camshaft.
