i bought high temp silicone (hightempsilicone.com). they are a bit pricey but they will not melt (they give a lot of extra hose too with the kit). and good for just about anything (stay away from battery acid, they sell special hoses for stuff like fuel oil etc)

fuckin a's thats how i went about it everything done myself (minus a stripped exhaust manifold stud and alignments hehe, and i already had a redesigned toyota headgasket replaced at about 40k miles... that never blew heh)
same here,.. i felt like ive posted about this IC 3 times in 2 days heh. there is def a noticable difference with spearco rep. with a stock setup (intake exhaust help too)
try giving it a good cleaning, they are difficult to insert the clip with a loaded magazine try it with less bullets see if its still difficult (if its still hard after cleaning and with less bullets then something could seriously be wrong with it heh)
if you think about it, after the dashboard theres not much else you need... unless of course you want to use the fuel pump or differential but thats not really the case with the soarer
