I know that. Even if you use your own ECU, then you have no ECU to run your car for a whole month. That is unless you buy a stock ECU for around 200 to hold you over until your Mine's ECU comes back...

And just how much more would you think a standalone costs? The extra money spent on a standalone and tuning is alot better than spending 1800 on a reflash stock ECU.

No that sounds about right. Pretty sure the rev limit is 7250(IIRC), not 7500. So if it's about 200 off give or take, then it would show aroudn 7k like you mentioned.
