Blue smoke at start-up is probably valve seals. If the seals are bad then some oil would probably leak into the chamber and cause comp. test differences.

I replaced the rear main when I put this clutch in. Pretty confident that its not that. Yours is slipping now too? You have less miles than I do dont you? Maybe Spec just had a bunch of bum PPs. Well hopefully I will have a lift by next Friday... 'til then very little boosting :(

Im guessing your car is a pre '89 car? Find some 89+ moldings and your in good shape. They are all plastic with no metal brackets to rust off.

you dont need a bc for 8psi. When I got full exhaust, fipk, and my pvc pipes I maxed out the stock gauge with no boost manipulation.
