WOAH ok i should have read that before my last post. whoops. ok... so you have coolant filling the overflow when the engine heats up? i think it'ss normal to see a little extra coolant in there when the engine is hot, its not normal for it to reach the top and squirt out the overflow tube...

maybe it had an air bubble? taking the thermostat completely out could reveal if its the problem. i dont know if there are risks to that though... having a cold engine too long isnt a good thing...i dont think. (thats why there is a thermostat.)
