junkyards, craiglist, ebay lol supramania for sale section. i usually see the lexus 2jzge's (the full engine+harness) on craigslist for 500$ish same with ebay- usually you can talk someone down to take the bottom end for yourself
jono is right! or you can rent a uhaul thing to pull the front clip if you do live near a port hehe... with that old trailor hitch the previous owner installed on to your supra :(
how much power are you planning on making? was going to say there is always the map ecu 2 but you seem like you want to outgrow that real quick (seen supras with over 800hp with them)
maybe because you guys dont put the silicone where you are supposed to when you redo the seals on the 1jz :biglaugh: one of the first things i noticed between the 1jz and 2jz when you redo the cam cover seals
and you are missing a hood - i'll sell you mine!:biglaugh:
and yes it was a PITA...
thats why you pt a 2jzge block in and transform to a 1.5jz ;) 200$ usually for a 2jzge bottom block. and i doubt anything is wrong with your head. and its not too expensive to rebuild a bottom block if you are really obsessing over it, or to build it to whatever horsepower you are wanting unless...
the sards would be nice thats for sure. i was looking into injectors for my car and it would look like if i wanted their drop ins i would need to get the 800cc's heh
yeah nothing beats that for budget =/ (you can even go beyond 400) plus you can shave off the letters and polish it noone will ever know its an upgrade :biglaugh:
(1jz pan on 2jz)
if he is going to turbo he might as well swap to a gte
i think its actually cheaper just to buy a 1jz engine than buy new 2jz pans they are expensiivee (locally and with a discount) and sell whats left on the 1jz to make up hehe
