personnally i love the targa top. mine doesnt leak and i dont feel any extra vibration when its off. when its warm and nice its off....
but dont hack up a hardtop for one just buy one......

i just bought a 91 parts car and yes they do have 6.5" speakers in the door.
i used all the interior out of the 91(dark grey) and put it in my 89 turbo car.... plus they have stock tweets which I would install new ones in the place of the old ones, but theres a place for them... as you can...
im not one to harp on anyone else for doing stuff to a supra but a 7m has plenty of torque in the lower rpm provided its a healthy engine and already has problems getting it to hook off the line. and a side note how are you going to feel when a 7m powered supra walks off from your ls1 powered...
supercharger=hard to find, not as good on performance, cant turn up and down boost, and takes horsepower to make horsepower.
turbo=easy to find, more choices, you can adjust boost pressure and is free horsepower by using exhaust...
trust me i threw the 7mge out and place a 7mgte in last...
keep the car and slow down..... in two years it might be hard to find one and then if you do you might not want to pay what people want for them..... just garage it and buy something slow and economical for a while then you can pull it out when you feel like it...

id say put a metal headgasket on the right way and you wont have problems and can get 500rwhp out of the stock 7m bottom end...
no one who does a metal headgasket job right has problems out of it again....
