yes they did. in 86.5 87 they went to just supra and celica went its own way... its just some people do not know what they are talking about and are misinformed on the matter.. the mkII supras actually say celica supra on the header panel emblem and on the rear where as 86.5 to 92 say supra on...
black mica is nice but friend just repainted his plain black and it is beautiful. my car is black mica and the color is also beautiful so i say whatever you prefer.. i happen to know black mica is kinda expensive but plain black isnt that bad on price...
thats the reason i do all the work on my supra myself for one i know whats been done to the car, two i know its done right and three no shops to rip me off....
i did a full engine rebuild with metal headgasket, new rings, bearings, gaskets/seals, rebuilt head and he was only out about 1,200...
will jarco hold up to there warrenty if you pull the oilpan off i know alot of engine builders wont hold up to there warrenty if the engine has been gone into...
leave it off if you have an alarm(aftermarket) or if your parking it in the garage i would leave it off all other situations i would put it on and start the front bolts then when you go back out just loosen them back up and take it back off.. fully bolting it down and off just for running inside...
I dont see why they would fail you over that but then again why do people do most things. this is the only reason why i dont like california. cant you find someone that will overlook that stuff.
flywheel bolts loose happened to me once... rare but does happen... when it happened to me i thought it was a rod knock. happened about 2 1/2 years ago i just remembered when you said something about the flywheel.
my friend daniel had the same sound after we rebuilt his engine turns out it was the alt. same exact sound
could be that or you know...
did you put plenty of assembly lube on the crank and parts while you were assembling the bottom end.

id be up for it if i were up in running in time but i doubt i will be unless i get lucky and am able to get an hks mhg without a long wait.... if not i hope to have a good one this spring/summer...

thanks... i cant wait to be done with the interior and engine ive been without a running supra for a year now. I just dont have alot of time to work on it. but I should be done with the engine around the end of feb. hopefully interior will be done too. im hoping to get a set of black sparco...
someone needs to make some decals like this. not for the car but you could put it in the garage, on a toolbox or car hell i dont know somewhere i would like one though...
