My BFGoodrich T/A's did that. They didn't smoke much either, had to sit there for at least 10 seconds to get a noticable cloud, and it would leave a small gray mark. Quite sad haha. My friend's WS6 would chirp second and leave a 10 foot strip darker than paint though.

Starting at 50 the WRX had no chance. Nice kill. Sounds like you've got some bad plugs. I pulled mine shortly after I got the car and the stumble went right away.
