Picked up some wheels, varrstoen es7 18x10.5 and 18x9.5. Should be all mounted up tomorrow on 245 cooper rs3-s and 295's on the back
Still isn't running. I don't believe I'm getting spark. I've wired up a dh61 to get rid of the factory multiplexing but not sure how to disable that setting in...
Yep its stock ignition. I'll give that a try, thanks. There's really no tuner locally where I'm at. I plan in taking it down to psi to get tuned when I get it running. Im not experienced in the tuning part but pretty good at building an engine
I called psi and they told me they have tons of...
Been messing with the ecu for about a week now trying to get it to start, no luck. It fired up once but ran very rough and couldn't get it fire up after that. Hopefully get it figured out soon before the snow hits
It shot flames about 2 feet though when it did run.. So it must have a timing...
i recently installed aem v2 30-6050 sold by driftmotion. i swapped my running engine from my white 1990 turbo into my 1991 turbo. i bought the aem box used and was told it came with a base tune but something seems off. the engine cranks over but doesnt fire, sometime will backfire out the...

if you want 400hp i would start with a solid base, your engine. dont cut corners and do it right. get the correct size mls hg with arp...

Wrapped my header, installed the turbo and wastegate along with all the oil lines(it's a very tight fit for my drain line being-12). Also got my AEM 5 bar map sensor in the mail today. 3.99$ for overnight...

Engine is ready to go in this weekend
Yeah there is tons of room for a downpipe now
I'm not 100% but I think the stock hx35 housing I had was .82ar the 12cm. With he 62mm wheel it was full spool at 4400rpm
Aem tru boost and oil pressure gauge are all ready to go in the gauge cluster
I also welded a 3" vband flange to my exhaust housing. Not too bad for a harbor freight welder. Even though I don't see it, I went ahead and polished the wastegate cap.
Might try polishing my extra pair of valve...
