There are definitely many alternatives to the gas we use now. My personal favorite (as you may have guessed) is the hydrogen combustion because it saves the environment and still keeps if not increases the power.

No, there are many bov's that work on the stock intake system. My supra uses a turbonetics BOV that vents directly to atmosphere. Usually, if you don't have hardpipes, the Bov will come with an adapter which lets you install it in the same location as the stock bov.

TBH I have never even heard of anyone fueling up with their car on. Don't know why though, just never really thought about it.

There is nothing wrong with making a hybrid out of a heavy car. However, as far as performance goes, given the money your putting into making a hybrid, it would be more productive using a lighter body/chassis. It is still very possible to make the supra into a hybrid. I just prefer power...
