I think that was the idea. I personally really like to listen to either techno or rock when I drive and I'm not listening to my engine's music. Since I often find I am alone in my love for techno, "saliva" has some really good rock songs for driving. I've got tonnes more if you want em. It might...
Last summer I upgraded my stock AFM to the lexus AFM, but I kept the original sensor. Recently, when taking the car out for the first time since the snow cleared, I noticed that it was idling terribly. I had to come back to school, but my dad took a voltmeter to the sensor and found out that...
Hmm, is it possible to just buy a wideband o2 sensor and then plug it in to the stock ECU or do you have to go with one of the kits that include their own displays'.
Originally I learned to drive in my dad's supra, before he gave it to me. It was impossible, you couldn't move the car an inch without him telling you about how not to wear the clutch and such. I eventually gave up and learned on a 4 cylinder ford escape, where I got it down in under an hour...
Just out of curiousity, how did you get the sawblades chrome? I remember hearing a rumor once that they were chrome, but painted over. I really don't know about that though.
The only time I've encountered a rad cap problem was when the seal on the rad cap on my dad's bmw 328i broke and the radiator decided to blow the pipe that carried coolant away from it. I have never seen a car loose soo much coolant soo fast.
The only time I would consider NAWZ would be if I had a turbo of a size large enough to warrant it along with the supporting full engine internals. Otherwise I see it more like taking a hammer to the inside of your engine every time you use it.
If your car is has a manual transmission then you might want to look for two pipes that are blocked off near the back of the engine on the turbo side. My car was loosing coolant for about 2 months before I found it. The two pipes are those that would go to the auto tranny if you had one. In the...
You are very right about the attention thing. Police in Toronto have probably one of the biggest ongoing anti-street racing projects in the world. Sergeants have been documented as saying that they search for Neon, Bright Paint and the pillar pod. Hence I foresee much hassling in the future...
It's easy to just say that it's our fault, but who is really going to stop driving? Many people rely on cars for their jobs. It'd be impossible to get everyone to stop long enough to damage the companies.
Hmm... ebay eh? Never was really 100% trusting of that place... Heard too many stories of parts arriving broken or misadvertized. I think it's better to just go with a few high quality parts then just a tonne of sketchy ones.
Hmm that might work nicely... I myself am currently planning a little (well actually kinda huge) project for my interior... It'll probably take a couple of years to finish though.
