the new 6.4 Powerstroke's are the same, you can barely tell it's a diesel at idle. That will probably be my next big purchase.

My friend has a 4" to 5" and it is louder than my car. My car screams and gets close at high rpm, where the diesel redline's at 4,000. the truck's a much deeper sound, the supra is more high pitched sound at redline, which could make it seem louder.

I don't think it would be worth it when you can build a 7M/1J/2J for cheaper, and easier. Have you seen those engines? they barely fit in the 300ZX... It can't be easy shoehorning a V6 into a car built for in I6.

Don't do it when the turbo is hot, you'll strip the holes out for the wastegate bolts. Fuel cut will take care of saving your engine from overboost. Remember you could creep to higher boost levels when it's colder, and in higher gears. I'd hit fuel cut occasionally at night on the highway...

Add one shim at a time and take it for a ride, when you hit fuel cut, you have too many washers.
