If you're going to be doing a lot of road racing it would be a good idea to get some baffles installed in the pan. Make sure you run an extra quart too!
800-1000hp is a little overkill for drifting. Not to mention you probably have a big turbo to make that much and lag isn't great for drifting.. Just saying.
Im fairly certain you will hit 13.5's no problem.. I ran a 14.2 with a full weight 5 speed on 245 falken 912's, stock ct26 at 9lbs.
No weight reduction, half tank of gas and my clutch was slipping bad thru 1st gear. Car weighed a tick under 3800lbs with me in it that time.
Have you checked for codes?
Make sure the wires for the VSS are good and not chaffed anywhere and make sure all connections between the VSS and speedo are good.
I would also check and make sure you don't have an o2 sensor wire grounded somewhere.
