90% of pre-89 turbo Supras have horrific wiring. Not sure why, but I have yet to see one with an intact engine wiring harness.
New wiring harness is around $500 from the dealer, IF you can still get it.
And it isn't very hard to replace. You could get it done in an afternoon.
I have tweeters from an 80's BMW right at the base of the a-pillars on my car. It really really helps raise the soundstage from being pointed at your knees, to where it should be...pointed at your head LOL.
Was really easy to do, just make sure you use the proper crossover/capacitor.
Seats look good, but look like they could really use a cleaning...I would suggest buying some leatherique products. Cerrius Clean spray (this stuff will clean anything) and some rejuvenating oil/protectant...your leather will look brand new. :)
You have GOT to be kidding. Putting coolant in the sump is probably one of the most boneheaded and expensive mistakes you could make. Not to mention coolant and oil bottles are completely different sizes. Please sell that car before you damage it further.
I seriously hope you are mistaken...
I wait probably 30 seconds before I put it in reverse and back out of my carport...then drive like a grandma until it is warm...Keep the revs under 2,000.
JJ, if your car really is as well-maintained and in great shape like you say it is...then it still has a LOT of life left...My car has well over 200k miles, and it is still reliable...I've only had to replace small things, mainly engine components, parts of the TCCS, etc...(mostly just normal...
I agree that this is very probably the problem. But it could also be several other things...for one, it doesn't explain his running super rich and fouling plugs...that seems to be a seperate issue.
I remember it! :D It drove nicely! :biglaugh:
And just looking at the pics, your car would look a lot better if you moved the license plate to the stock location, or got rid of it completely...just my opinion of course... :)
