if a supra owner did the same thing to him he would be bitching up a storm, i am upset cause his comments about it being just for fun are bullshit, i am upset mostly cause he posted that shit on youtube to make him self look like a badass. so i am fucking sorry if you people do not know when you...
Jesus man, listen we get people like you all the time, they want a fast fix a fast fix WILL NOT fix it in the long run, i know its your DD, but it wont be a DD till you at least try to do it right, 1st what you need to do is fork over the cash to have your head rebuild, ( it needs it anyway)...
if you use a tick oil as a fix for a motor with 175k+ miles you are stupid and i hope your motor shits its self, 10w-30 or plane 30 is the perfect oil for the 7mgte, stop being stupid.
dude don't worry, the only thing i looked up when i changed my head gasket was the head bolt order, that is available on this site
inline 6's are pritty simple and to the point, if i may throw something out, it is faster to pull the motor and trans then to do the HG while in the car.
YES if you use ARP hardware STUDS OR BOLTS 500 miles or 3 or 4 heat cycles , repeat till you reach 500 miles, play it safe do it right! 75 to 80 pounds 80 should be the max
also know i recheck my studs every year in the 1st months of summer
I run 15 psi all day long on my stock gasket and have been for 2 years and 50,000 miles. Gab once again you are ignorant if you are unable to build a motor correctly please send me your supra/supra's.
This is incorrect, a stock headgasket will handle 15 PSI(max psi on a stock ct-26 any more then 15 and you are just blowing hot air) if the head and block is preped correctly.
its flaw is the headgasket, and maybe the iron block with the aloy head but other then that the motor is a amassing platform.
people that bitch about 7m's and put it down are to stupid to put a motor together they rather go the EZ way out and spend a shit load to get a 1jz. or some other...
