    The potential for the price. What else can you get in that price range that can put out so much throw you back in your seat power? I love that its a real muscle sports car for honda civic prices.

    Blown turbo seals wont blow white smoke. It will be dark blue almost black. When mine blew it was also smoked constantly. Pull off your intercooler piping and look for oil. Keep an eye on your fluid levels and see if your losing any.

    I decided to put a 2J in my 87 hardtop. Info please.

    youll need a mk4 throttle cable. 1jz bell housing and flywheel. 89+ motor mounts. Also Id do all the minor stuff before you drop it in. front main seal rear main seal cam seals stuff like that. Im not sure if DR tweak is on here but I know hes on supraforums and yes he still does the wiring.

    I always thought the short shifter was a waste of time. Reminds me of my old honda days.

    Thats pretty cheap. I paid 2100 for mine to my door from JDM planet on ebay but it did come with the r154 and it was a rear sump jza70 engine.

    Bummer bro. The car looks pretty clean Id swap the motor and tranny or rebuild. If the tranny is still shifting good it might be worth just changing the fluid and keep it till it goes.

    What kind of injectors are you planning on getting? Are you going to turn up the boost after you ad the extra fuel?
